The MPI Charitable Division Story

For over a decade the Ghiglieri family of fine artists has dedicated a selection of their masterpieces to the purpose of raising funds for nonprofits across the country. 

Masterpiece Investments, through its Charitable Division, is proud to carry on this family tradition by representing a select collection of Ghiglieri Masterpieces, made available to discerning collectors and philanthropists at fundraising auction events. The intention is to contribute to the nonprofit as much as possible through the sale of a Ghiglieri Masterpiece.

While other divisions of Masterpiece Investments and corresponding galleries offer Ghiglieri pieces at retail value, the Charitable Division has exclusive permission to restructure the pricing requirements of these masterpieces in order to encourage the maximum participation in the bidding process and the maximum return for each nonprofit.

The cornerstone of the Charitable Division structure is the “Shared Revenue Program”, which allows the MPI Charitable Division to contribute fifty percent of the proceeds from the masterpiece sale directly to the nonprofit.

The MPI Charitable Division bears financial responsibility for the production of the masterpiece, for presentational and promotional materials, for crating and packaging, shipping and transportation, for durational insurance and for the Certificate of Authenticity, provided to each collector. The nonprofit bears no cost and no risk.

Since 1998 the Ghiglieri family has helped to raise over forty million dollars for worthy causes across the country. Now, through the commitment of the MPI Charitable Division, the legacy will carry on into the twenty-first century and beyond.
